Method: level-matched · Welch spectrum · active punch
Level-matched: selected windows are normalized by broadband mono RMS before comparison, matching the mono spectrum MONOLITH analyses. Welch spectrum: low-end bands use 50% overlapped Hann-Welch spectra for more stable measurements. Active punch: crest is measured on active low-end frames with robust 99.5% peak detection, not silence, tails or single-sample clicks.
